I'm pretty much 100% in the classical realm -- orchestral and chamber music are my big things. I'm trying to expand though into jazz and more contemporary classical, different/unconventional types of chamber ensembles, etc....you really gotta be able to do it all to be marketable as a player.
Agreed....it grates on me a lot when classmates in my theory or musicology courses so blatantly talk about Coldplay, Bieber, whoever as lesser artists.
I played jazz trombone and it was a lot of fun. I sucked but it was a lot of fun hahaha. Anyway, this isn't my favorite Drake album by any means and I don't enjoy listening to it much but I'm happy for him, those are huge numbers to do and continues to show the changing of the guard and just how far he's ascended into the "upper echelon" once held by Jay and Wayne. Looking forward to the next release (and wondering when we're gonna hear those songs Kanye mentioned having with him and Future (probably never)).

High/Low is pretty much 90s Alternative rock but they've become much more melodic and "indie" sounding.
I know a lot of people seemed to like Enema the best in other circles. I also always preferred Mark to Tom haha
For whatever reason, I've soured on drake just from the things his name gets attached to recently. I love his records but I haven't had the urge to check this one out yet. Insane that he's doing these numbers.
interesting thing about these numbers is at least some of that 600k is from hotline bling's stream counts from the last seven months soooo everything about this is gonna be weirdly opaque and hard to actually parse
