20 years removed from "High/Low" and their hit "Popular", these guys still consistently put out great records.

Love love love. Everything from Let Go on is pretty much amazing. New album is just good, not great

Buying the record very soon, I've only heard the very solid lead single

I'm a big fan of Stars are Indifferent and the new album. Any recommendation for what I listen to next?

Only seen Matthew Caws solo (and with Kevin Devine) this past December. Stoked!

Stars was my first listen for them and then I went to Lucky. I really enjoyed that record. The new one is decent but I'd go to Lucky before I went to the new one.

My sister has had "High/Low" on cd since it came out in 1996, and it was the only album I really ever listened to by them until this past year when I finally decided to listen to all their following releases. Sure glad I did.

I also have a soft spot for Lucky.

In reality though all of their albums are solid :ok:

Let Go is an instant classic.

The Weight is a Gift is Probably my favorite by them.

Every now and then they play Always Love at work. My shift always gets a bit better when they do

Such a good song. Puts me in good mood as well. Blankest year is another one.

Love the heck out of this band. Ideal pop rock songwriting... and beautiful production sound on all their records, especially The Weight Is a Gift (I'm biased, I think Chris Walla is one of the best rock producers out there)

This is controversial on this site but I would even say Nada Surf > Jimmy Eat World. Nada just has a ton of excellent songs, less "average" material than JEW has

Call me crazy but I think Proximity Effect comes very close to being up there with Futures and better than all JEW's other records. I'm listening to it right now and seriously every song is fantastic.

I like that album. I always wished they would remaster it for a rerelease though.

Jammed to 'The Weight is a Gift' and 'Lucky' on my way to explore Joshua Tree. Fitting for that environment.

I find Nada Surf consistent but not great. I enjoy a few songs off almost every album, although absolutely nothing off of The Stars Are Indifferent to Astronomy clicked with me.

This one off their latest album did though, and great video to boot

What does any of that random opinion have to do with Jimmy Eat World

About as much as this post has to do with anything weeks/months later

They are my two favorite pop-rock bands, I recently realized I get more of a pull from Nada Surf. Not really trying to say anything that crazy.
