I keep seeing a few let's players doing sponsored plays of this game. Literally all I know about it is from that.

 

I played Warframe at the PS4 launch in 2013 and I thought it was utter shit.

 

Honestly Warframe is a pretty solid game to chill out and turn your brain off with. I played a bit of it in the weeks before D2 launched and had a good time.

 

I need to reinstall it. I was JK about not liking it. I just only played it the first 2 weekends of the PS4's life haha.

 

No I know I was just saying that I think it's a fun game!

So the weapons are in the database. More palette swaps with mediocre perks in non-meta archetypes. And there isn't even a sniper, rocket launcher, or linear fusion rifle either! Like they couldn't have just made three more palette swaps, thrown some trash perks on there and then called it a day? Somebody must have had to leave work a half hour early the afternoon they were designing these.

 

you mean to tell me Bungie is cheap and lazy and reskinned weapons already in the game but not every archetype?

Its all about the armor. I don't give two shits about the guns. They might be relevant after a sandbox update.

 

armor would be worth it if they even had intrinsic perks like they did in D1 (increased sprint and recovery after capping zone, increased handling after kill, or whatever they were). same goes for raid gear. what the fuck is the point of trying to get the gear if the perks don't provide assistance for doing the raid again??

 

yeah we all kind of talked about this last time we raided but I dont feel any more powerful at 302 PL than I did at 270 PL when we first attempted. theres no perks or rolls that grant bonuses in certain activities and thats a real shame. Theres also this weird scaling mechanic in place and it seems to be out of whack. All of this just exacerbates the already existing issue of our Guardians just being so much weaker than in D1.

 

Yeah they certainly didn't skimp out on the effort when creating the armor sets; these three sets are some of the coolest-looking in Destiny's history, I think. I just totally agree that without intrinsic perks there's no difference between them and any other armor pieces in the game. Combine that with the weapons being lackluster and my desire to grind IB is pretty low.

 

I am interested to see how the new Shores of Time plays. That was always one of my favorite maps in D1.

 

if they bring back my last word i'll forgive them for everything they've done so far in D2.
