I heard there is a scroll on a tv somewhere that says something like, “Christopher Plumber turns down role in Deadpool 2.”
I think I liked the kid, though I could've just been bringing my attachment from Hunt for the Wilderpeople with me.
in regards to Deadpool's creator. lol https://film.avclub.com/why-even-deadpool-2-seems-to-think-its-creator-sucks-1826248835
I enjoyed this more than the first, for whatever reason I was laughing more and enjoying the action more as well.
This was about on par with the first one for me, where there's a TON of jokes and some hit hard, some not at all. Never will be my favorite movies or anything but they're definitely enjoyable and I'm really happy Ryan Reynolds got to do his dream character and do it justice
I didn't hate X3 like most people, but I always thought it was a waste to have a film feature both Juggernaut and Colossus in it and not have them fight. I love that this film corrected that finally.
This was fun. Felt a little too long and I got exhausted with the banter a few times but overall I thought it was solid.
Saw this last night. I'd say I enjoyed it about the same as the first. A lot of funny moments, solid action. The meta-humor is a little too much at times, but I expected that going in. Domino was my favorite part for sure.
For anyone interested Zeitgeist is in one of my favorite single issue comics in X-Force: New Beginnings. His team is more reality show than superhero team. Dark and amusing stuff.
saw this tonight. I liked the first one, and was surprised at how much I enjoyed that one considering how much I didn't want to watch it. this one was kind of corny. I think it's cool to be self aware but when it goes exactly where you'd expect anyway it's like what's the point and crosses over into self parody. it did get a couple of laughs out of me but it's not super memorable is all. I'm thinking I'll watch it again and see if watching it with friends and talking about it after improves it for me or something
