10 years of The Dark Knight. Where you at @Jason Tate We will never see a movie like The Dark Knight again
Such a great movie. @jkauf, the lead up and expectations and finally seeing it and it being as good as I wanted, was maybe the most fulfilling movie going experience of my life.
Polygon is celebrating the 10 years of TDK all week. Some solid articles after that first one already posted. has helped make work a little more enjoyable haha
New pic. Too much smiling. I hate it. kidding Love that he's holding his backpack. And... can we get a Shazam thread please.
I mean, if you want one, you can make one... But, since I'm excited for this movie, I just made it myself. Movie - Shazam! (David F. Sandberg; April 5, 2019)
'Birds of Prey:' Black Canary, Huntress, Cassandra Cain, Renee Montoya Any guesses on the villain? Would love Black Mask or Mad Hatter.
There will never be another experience like that for me again, I don’t think. Probably not possible with the way it works these days. Man, the scavenger hunts. Every tease and image released. The build up and pay off was unprecedented. Truly a game changer in every way.
It's funny because I disagree with all of those. Winter Soldier is way better than Civil War (aka Winter Solider 2, I refuse to acknowledge as Civil War)
There are probably several comic book movies that were you to say > TDK, would be an acceptable opinion (still disagree strongly), but none of those. MAYBE Logan, but that still has some flaws where I'd dock a couple points there
I'd hear arguments for, Batman Begins, Superman, Mask of the Phantasm, and Scott Pilgrim (and with time, maybe Black Panther). I doubt I'd agree, but I'd at least think there's some good arguments to be made.
Agreed. Logan was overrated because people were just excited it was finally a brutal Wolverine movie.
Honestly, it wouldn't surprise me at all if the future is even kinder to BP than it's current reception now
