I didn't like Artificial Selection that much but this one off single pleases me a lot. I guess I have no idea what I want from them at this point.
The riff under that Jon part is so fucking good man, great use of effects again from Will. Whole song is enjoyable but only a 7/10 for me if I had to rate it

Eh, in my experence a lot of things that sound too bouncy to not be autotuned are just results of vocal anomalies due to the impact recording several consecutive takes has on your voice. Regardless all music at this level of production has probably been polished by a little pitch editing software, but that's different from a pitch correction plug-in like AutoTune.
Yeah that's definitely possible here. If it makes anyone feel better I retract my auto-tune allegations, haha

Relistening to “Acceptance Speech” for the first time in a while, and it really is *shocking* how much of Jon’s lyrics on here are actually meaningful and emotionally impactful. They still retain some of the “absurdism”, while having actual thematic weight and sometimes even tying into Tilian lyrics! This is great! Why has he never done this since??
