also unfortunately i might concede; oranguru does suck in singles. haven’t found a window to bring it in

 

once I told a close friend that I think it would be cool for a Gengar to live in my shadow instead of in a pokeball and he roasted me for being an edgelord and I decided that moment I was only going to love ghost pokemon and double down on the cringe.

 

I've been having a blast with this. I drafted some mons that I was already comfortable with (Excadrill, Togedemaru, Ribombee) and some new ones I've never used before (Seismitoad, Conkeldurr, etc.), and I've loved team building every week.

 

I suck at singles too you need a new excuse

 

i had so many questions you answered in the pokemon thread that i appreciate. really helped me get back up to speed

You're also tremendously better at doubles than everyone else, I'm pretty sure your "bad at singles" is better than a lot of people in this league

Also how is saying "I'm losing because I am bad" an excuse lmao "being bad is not an excuse to lose"???

I was joking lol I can see now that you're not great at singles, I too didn't believe you at first

 

I started using a hyper offensive rain/psychic terrain team in doubles yesterday and I love it. Doubles is so much more interesting lol

 

Sorry I'm overloaded with work shit and the extra stress is making me very pissy

I'm not sure I've ever had a successful doubles team. It'll be a learning experience, at least.

 

I love doubles and have so many doubles teams I love

Nah I lose plenty, I'm fine with losing and I probably will play. It's just hard to imagine at this second. Probably depends on when next league actually starts

 

If my work ever hires another person I'm definitely in for next time, I'm just not counting on it

 

We're over a month out, so nothing is imminent.

If we start hiring I will 100% post links, it's not a bad job and I work remote

I asked my boss last week to hire a new guy, he said we can't right now unless we have hard evidence that we need another person, so hopefully we can have that soon
