Wind Waker and honestly it’s not very close for me. Game is a magnificent experience, has such a unique charm to it, and is just overall a joy to play and one of my all time favorites of all time.
I didn’t vote because I couldn’t decide lol I’ll take it, BotW is amazing. I expected a game I don’t even like to win honestly.
its a top five game for me but like if this is four, there's a big gap between it and three. the pain of losing Hollow Knight almost immediately still floors me haha. this was fun tho thanks yall im logging off for a while
BotW is the first open world game I've ever played, if you can believe it. That game captivated me. I lost sleep for weeks playing it in bed. I let Fire Emblem sit unopened for like two weeks so I could finish it. Well deserved, I say.
That is truly wild. Anyway, it's good place to start because it's great but also a bad place to start because if made most other open world games feel terribly outdated.
