Is that a mandatory requirement?

Maybe it’s just because Marianas Trench isn’t the most popular band on these forums, and my votes are needed to reach minimum acceptable vote counts, but I’m voting at the end of the round (though effectively that only actually impacts tied match-ups).

 

I didn’t realize there was precedent for it, I guess I could consider it. I’ve thought about at least just listing my choices separate from votes just to make myself feel better haha

 

I don't see a problem with it - most brackets seem to let the person leading the bracket decide ties, and if the bracket isn't tied then there's a slim chance your vote will actually impact the outcome. Share away, I say - the sharing of opinions and debating tracks/albums is what I love about brackets haha.

 

Have you had a tie? I just worry about effectively double counting my own vote.

The most recent round had three of four matches tie that I had to settle haha. But it’s the first Marianas Trench album, that most people don’t know, so there’s only like five active people for these rounds

I think a Frank Turner bracket would be cool, especially as he has so much material and a lot of B sides from different eras to divide up.
