I decided to skip it. Mostly because I’m old and didn’t realize the Eagles were home tonight and traffic would’ve been hell. Like others I’ve seen him perform really great sets and also seen him struggle through sets (whatever the reason may be). Certain artists fit that bill. He seems to always been in that category.

i don't think i've been to a show where i wasn't pleased with the performance and i've seen him probably 8-10 times. but yeah, the last time i saw him 2ish years or so ago he was pretty obviously very inebriated. still did great!

Honestly, I had a good time on Saturday and didn’t notice him being that…out of sorts. I thought he sounded pretty good too.

I have now seen Bright Eyes three times and BOCC twice, and I’d still say the BOCC shows are two of my favorite shows I’ve been to. That tour was a lot of fun.

is it the same for you? Prestigious

I don't think I'm ever going to like this one as much as I love Down In The Weeds, but I definitely like the singles a little more in context and think the album as a whole is good. It's always interesting to see how they change the sound every record while still keeping the things that make the band specific (the samples spread throughout the album are maybe the most prominent here).
