Billie Eilish has shared “No Time To Die,” the theme song from the upcoming James Bond movie.

Today, five-time GRAMMY® Award winning Darkroom/Interscope Records artist Billie Eilish has released her latest song, No Time To Die, the official theme song to the upcoming James Bond film. The song was produced by her brother; fellow multi GRAMMY® Award winning FINNEAS alongside Stephen Lipson, with orchestral arrangements by Hans Zimmer and Matt Dunkley, and guitar from Johnny Marr. No Time To Die comes ahead of the film’s global release, which hits theaters from April 2 in the U.K. through Universal Pictures International and in the U.S on April 10 through MGM via their United Artists Releasing banner. 18-year-old Eilish is officially the youngest artist in history to both write and record a James Bond theme song, and will be performing it live for the first time, accompanied by FINNEAS, plus special guests Hans Zimmer and Johnny Marr at The Brit Awards in London on February 18.
“Billie and FINNEAS have written an incredibly powerful and moving song for No Time To Die, which has been impeccably crafted to work within the emotional story of the film,” said Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli, the producers of No Time To Die.

“There are a chosen few who record a Bond theme. I am a huge fan of Billie and FINNEAS. Their creative integrity and talent are second to none and I cannot wait for audiences to hear what they’ve brought – a fresh new perspective whose vocals will echo for generations to come,” said director Cary Joji Fukunaga.

Eilish said, “It feels crazy to be a part of this in every way. To be able to score the theme song to a film that is part of such a legendary series is a huge honor. James Bond is the coolest film franchise ever to exist. I’m still in shock”. FINNEAS adds. “Writing the theme song for a Bond film is something we’ve been dreaming about doing our entire lives. There is no more iconic pairing of music and cinema than the likes of Goldfinger and Live and Let Die. We feel so so lucky to play a small role in such a legendary franchise, long live 007.”

Not really hearing a Bond theme, but it’s not terrible, sounds like a b-side from her album. Gotta feel bad for anyone doing a Bond theme after Adele, even though Garbage low key did one of the best.

I don't know, it sounds like a Bond theme to me. I think they did pretty well.

Absolutely love it, a great song that fits quite perfectly with the Bond motif. Very excited to see the movie's intro with this track playing.

I'm not sure how you're not hearing the Bond theme in this; I feel it's using a lot of the clichés that make up one, both lyrically and musically.

I agree 100% with the Garbage comment.

I'll admit I haven't heard many of her songs, but this actually impressed me, and was more soulful than I expected. Didn't necessarily have the tempo or build that I'd normally expect, but I thought the orchestration made it feel Bond, and the mood might fit its use well.

This totally sounds like a Bond theme. At least it sounds like a successor to the previous Bond theme. I can definitely imagine the opening credits sequence. I really enjoyed it. Thought it was too low key at first but it picked up in the second half like I hoped.

I think its okay to not get the hype. There's plenty of artists that I don't like that this forum seems to be all about. I've never liked Taylor Swift. Never liked The 1975. Stopped caring about Blink 182 when I was fifteen. I listen to some indie pop music but overall I don't listen to pop music and haven't listened to the radio since.. like 1999.

I thought her EP was pretty solid and I thought the album release last year was really well produced and has some great tracks on it. Bury a Friend is my favorite track of hers I have heard. I had never heard of her before hearing the EP like a week or so before the LP dropped, so I had zero preconceptions about her. I had no idea how popular she was already or would be. I also enjoy her and her brother's story and have watched some videos of them and they seem like genuine people and I'm happy for their success.

Typical for a bond theme song. It's good but it's not something I'll have the desire to listen to other than in the context of the movie.
