What’s the worst song by your favorite artist though?

“Worse Comes to Worst” is definitely Billy Joel’s worst song, appropriately enough.

 

My favorite artists don't make bad songs.

 

Luckily Van has a lot to choose from. I will need to think of the worst on an otherwise good album. I don’t like the song Moondance very much but I can find worse.

little james is a terrible oasis song. basically any non-ozzy or dio sabbath song sucks and a few off of technical ecstasy are also cheeks

 

headless cross is dope as hell, that album whips ass

JEW have a lot of songs less good than "The Middle."

 

I don’t hate it but guitar hero kind of ruined heart shaped box for me

 

Yeah, here in Italy it was overplayed to death, I kept hearing it everywhere, even in my class, maybe there's when my hate for the song started.

That, Hey Soul Sister and Summer Paradise constitute the trifecta of horrendous acoustic campire songs.

 

Oh yeah Foxy Shazam is some hot garbage too

 

Most of my favourite rappers have plenty of bad songs, it was a singles genre in their prime

 

Deafheaven has some skips on their shoegaze album for sure.

 

"The Middle" and "Cut Me Up Jenny" are both not even close to those bands' worst songs.

 

I’m not even a big Jimmy eat world guy but the middle is good actually

 

no such thing as a bad elliott smith song so i can’t relate to not liking a song by your favorite artist

 

"The Middle" is closer to their best than worst.

 

It's just ubiquitous. It's had all the taste sucked out.

 

"Without Mythologies" is the worst Weakerthans song.

Worst Wonder Years song is definitely something on Get Stoked On It! but that's too easy. From the rest of their career, I really don't like "Stained Glass Ceilings" much.

 

All About That Bass or whatever it is called is brutal too

 

believe it or not Meghan Trainor has considerably worse material than that

The worst Jimmy Eat World song that’s not either a non album track or from their first album which doesn’t count is Gotta Be Somebody’s Blues from Chase This Light, IMO.

Doesn’t fit well in the album, coming in between Electable and Feeling Lucky and just feels out of place and a slog. Chuck it on the Stay On My Side Tonight EP and I might like it more.
