Exactly. Four Out of Five and Science Fiction are the only songs that stand out to me. They're great but more than half of this record just bores me.



I really hope we don't have to wait another 5 years for a new record.

 

Four Out of Five is an absolute blast on guitar, so groovy

TBHC absolutely rules and Star Treatment is the best "reset the era" song after AM.

Oh no, I used to know this for sure but I'd still say Humbug at #1(moody, muddy, confident, unorthodox, Alex learned how to really sing) and debut at #6 (still really good but Alex is really "tinny" and they didn't have Nick yet). The others bounce around in my head. I'll need to iron this out

Well I know it certainly puts me to sleep so I’m inclined to agree

 

Really wish I saw the tour for this album. I saw them at the Hollywood Cemetery on the day the album leaked, so I got to hear 3 songs from it but I didn’t know any of them (obviously).

 

Very good to drink and dance alone to in your kitchen at night. At least I would assume so!

 

I feel like I should be smoking a cigar and drinking scotch

 

I was just happy they played Batphone when I saw them. Song rules.

 

Going to spin this tomorrow

 

This album is so intertwined with my first actual trip to a casino, which made me feel like I was walking through a UFO, only strengthening my connection to the space stuff here. To me, this album is drinking free tequila sunrises until they're no longer serving. Such a pleasant memory of a spontaneous trip with friends.
