If anyone ordered the box set, it got pushed to an October 19 ship date. I was wondering why we hadn't heard anything.


Also, if anyone has a copy of NTFP and New Surrender on vinyl, they are the last two I need for their discog. Thanks for any help!

 

re-listened to their discography and this is one of those bands that I consistently forget about in the "favorite bands" discussion but their catalog is really great and diverse and powerful. Stephen Christian is among the best lyricists in our little music world, able to go toe to toe with Geoff Rickly and Keith Buckley and some of my other favorites.

Cities in particular is a testament to incredible lyrics and songcrafting. Dismantle.Repair and (*fin) are two of the best songs to come from this scene.

I love his lyrics on Cities and NTFP but I think they took a real dive after that.

 

Anyone hear anything on the box set? It’s now the 20th and I haven’t gotten an email yet...

 

This boxset is single handedly the best sound quality and packaging I have ever seen on a product. Holy Smokes is it worth every penny guys.

 

I am so excited! I don’t have my copy in hand yet, but it’s with my lovely significant other who gifted it to me. Can’t wait to see this thing!

 

So jealous. I didn't have the bandwidth when it went up and it sold out the day before I went to order it. Hope it lives up to expectations!

 

Just got my boxset today and it's so gorgeous.

That being said, I'm still trying to complete their discography. If anyone has NTFP and New Surrender, I'd be willing to buy them from you for a good price!

 

Got my box set today as well. I got the Vital print as my bonus. This thing sounds amazing and looks just like the mockup. The quality really is top notch. Might have cried a little while reading through the oral history. God I miss this band.
