Not too much for me beyond St. Vincent today... ...but I waited 6 years for new C!NCC music and was not disappointed. Had a huge smile on my face through the whole song. I don't know what it is, maybe my french ancestry, but I've always had a soft spot for that band. It even had the completely unnecessary metalcore section and I loved it wholeheartedly.
Damn! How'd I miss that Chunk! No, Captain Chunk album announcement. Stoked on that. New single from Hot Mulligan is v good too.
I wasn’t sure if that was new or an old b side! The song is on a double single in their Spotify with “Blame it On This Song”, so I was confused. Was that redone? I couldn’t tell. Didn’t know they were coming back totally. There’s always room for that sound in my library.
I'm not sure if anything is different. I own their albums so haven't streamed them at all. Instantly preordered the new vinyl. I'm stoked about this as I've been in a huge C!NCC dive lately. Was even just wondering if they called it quits or just taking their time on the next release.
Just in case anyone is interested in this information, the new Chunk! album was co-written and produced by Steve Klein (ex-NFG). Presented without further comment.
This is a pretty great debut EP for all you hip hop fans out there. I think these guys could blow up soon for sure
