this Anberlin EP is fantastic, i already like it better than the one they dropped last year! it starts out heavy as fuck and then goes straight into 80s vibes, i love it! gonna check out those new weeknd songs, frnd crcl (been waiting for this album for a bit now!) and the new EPS from Pool Kids & Halflives, oh and that new TBS track :)

As someone who has been with this site going back to the ap.net days and truly respects what you have done for the scene and your opinion, seeing you rep FRND CRCL and their new album is SO COOL. Those dudes are the best and I hope they blow up with this album.

I didn't realize that the Anberlin release was an EP, I must have been lunchin'. Thanks for mentioning that, I will check out the rest of it now, I only saw one track pop up on my Release Radar. It misses stuff quite a bit that is why I appreciate the contributions in this thread so much.

I wanted to like that TBS track more than I did, but it is good to get more new music from them. The Underoath song was solid but didn't blow me away, like I hoped.

And to everyone that mentions and reps FRND CRCL, you guys and gals, RULE. Hoping for only the best for those dudes. I genuinely think they put out a gem of an album and I hope a ton of people get to enjoy it.

bro me neither , i thought it was just a new song and then i clicked into it and saw it was the whole EP today so yah its excellent, I'm revisiting the one from last year and its better than i remembered, i honestly only listened to it once and then forgot about it. and yeah frnd crcl rips, i love pop punk! my favs off the album they they released already are no chill, clinically insane, fuck california, & adhd. i saw its 14 songs so im stoked to dive into it, i hit them up about cds and they said maybe they will think about pressing em since its only on vinyl right now. either or awesome tunes!!

Started my day off with the new Anberlin EP, welcomed back Neon Trees with their great new single "Favorite Daze," and now about to navigate thru The Japanese House's new LP. Intrigued by other's recommendations, and I'll be sure to check out FRND CRCL for sure. Have a great holiday weekend, everyone!

A friend of mine just released his new album under the name Vagabonds and I think folks here would really love it. Has songs featuring Ratboys and Have Mercy. Mastered by Will Yip.

And he just posted last night that Chris Walla bought a copy and told him it's "gorgeous."

Kind of folky emo indie rock in the vein of Bright Eyes or the softer side of br*nd n*w. I was listening to it at work yesterday and my coworker said it reminded him of Blue October, so there's that too.

Be kind; everyone is on their own journey.

I’m hearing a lot of Allister, Mest and The Story so Far in these guys. Too much pop punk these days has that corny, disingenuous, MGK influence, but this band is legit!! Takes me right back to ‘04…great recommendation!
