People keep posting their gender reveals parties on social media trying to go viral and one-up each other for fifteen minutes of fame, it's probably this stupid mentality that put the idea in the parents' heads to hire a pilot in the first place

(also, I did say I didn't know where to put this, as it's more a social media than entertainment thing, I didn't expect y'all to make it into a big discussion)

My favorite thing I saw about 311 was from the band Saves The Day (I know Chris is scum) where they were asked what genre of music they'd want to make if they changed styles and he said something like "probably whatever 311 is" in such a comedic way.

it's mostly just funny tweets, and there's another thread just for memes. We used to have a "jokes, pics you normally wouldn't psot" thread (misspelling intentional for some reason?) on AP.net but that got out of hand a lot iirc

but in general I think "influencers and content creators being shitty" vaguely falls under "accountability in entertainment," this just happens to be some rando family who got someone killed

there's always some sort of drama happening on tiktok, most of it's just not worth posting here

 

Fallon is THE talk show host that exhibits the most fake qualities compared to the others. A lot of the proof is that Kimmel and Meyers actually include their staff in the show, and Conan used to do that constantly and still does in a way on his podcasts. Fallon really only includes the Roots and Steve Higgins in his bits (besides celebrity cameos). Not shocking that Fallon has provided a toxic work environment.

 

Watching the new podcast with all the current talks shows is so uncomfortable because Stephen Colbert and John Oliver are legitimately great, the others are whatever and Fallon looks like he hates being there and he's just so off-putting.
