Final Fantasy X (63) - I love Skyrim and will always defend it, but FFX was a formative gaming experience for me as a kid.

Kingdom Hearts II (31) - Still the best KH game and still one of the best PS2 games.

Marvel's Spider-Man (2018) (50) - I’m voting against Pokémon the rest of the way no matter what it’s up against.

The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker (18) - Hollow Knight is great but WW is an all-time classic video game.

KH2/Persona 5 was the only hard matchup for me. Wind Waker is the best Zelda. FFX is top 5 all time for me, and was one of my first entries into JRPGs

FF10 is so linear, whereas Skyrim is so full of possibilities, or felt that way at least. Easy choice for me.

Yeah but FFX is better in pretty much every regard: story, characters, battle system, character development system, art direction, etc.

 

Art direction is apples and oranges imo. All the others things might be true but I personally also don’t really care about those that much lol Except yeah Skyrim’s combat leaves a lot to be desired

I'm a couple hours into FFX and I can already tell I'm gonna love the characters.

As for Pokemon, gen 2 is the last gen I played all the way through and it remains one of favorite videogames. RIP my OP Ampharos

 

It’s kinds weird we have G/S as well as HG/SS. There’s no reason to play the originals because the remakes are so faithful yet so much better.

 

Linear isn’t bad, I’d much rather have a linear, incredible story then a open world game that feels clunky and not very deep at times
