I haven’t seen any of the Dune movies and now considering reading the books first? Like I feel like that’s a good opportunity for me

I like to read so I am guessing yes??? Never really ventured into sci-fi/fantasy yet but have been thinking of doing it this year. Maybe Dune? Maybe Brandon Sanderson? Who knows

I think dune is like 800 pages yeah

 

I’d watch dune part one asap so you can see the second one in theaters then you can read the book, nerd.

 

I have the book but never read it. I think it’s just kinda dense and not an easy read from my understanding.

Dune is an incredible read, it's fkin mind blowing that it was written in the 60s. I don't like sci-fi that much (I'm a fantasy guy) but Dune has stuck with me for years.

It’s not an easy read for people who are bad at reading

 

Reading sucks but I just finished watching the first movie ten minutes ago and it was ok. Definitely tees up the story for a legit second act.
