I get the impression that he meddled with JBC's offense a lot last year. I think he should take a page out of the ol' Billy B book and just stay in his lane and let his OC take care of the offense

I wish more than anything we could’ve had Calvin/Golladay together

It was pretty clear that Caldwell wasn’t the answer, but he was canned after three winning records, two playoff seasons, and a 36-28 record in four seasons while players liked him (he was the only reason Calvin Johnson pretended to consider staying). Patricia is a wet garbage bag left outside in summer heat and if the Lions have another losing season it’s a joke if he’s still head coach going into next year.

I would be surprised if he makes it through this year. The only reason I could see them trying to justify it is if he competes within a division that is STACKED against him.

It’s the Lions. Our owner won’t care. He’ll be there all season. Probably next too. Then after his third losing season, they’ll fire him and our GM. We’ll restart again, have one year of promise, and flounder. Rinse, repeat. The Lions way

Calvin, Golladay, Tate, Hockenson, and Johnson would have been an amazing skill position group

I just read that the cardinals had the 8th best pass defense dvoa (in the league) last year, Vance Joseph could have a pretty good defense there. Imagine if they took quinnen or bosa instead of Murray.

It is but somehow they still have a set group this season. Lee, Dede, Conley, Chark, Pryor, and Cole. I'd be surprised if it's any different until Lee is injured again

People are actually saying this? I follow a lot of analysts and have yet to see anything but excitement or interest for the Cardinals.

Oh no we shouldnt have done that either.

Best case - hes as ineffective as he is in Chicago
Worst case - we still have Blake Bortles

I still think he’s pretty good and I’m willing to give him another season removed from the injury and and gaining familiarity with Trubisky/Nagy. It’s just a shame that he’s had to catch passes from Bortles and Trubisky so far in his career. He deserves someone better who will actually throw him the ball accurately
