Enjoying this album tonight.

What a day! I had an absolute blast even if it was stressful and pretty crazy at times. One of those "oh, yeah, I fucking love this job" kind of days. I guess I'll see everyone at 7:00am tomorrow for some more live blogging the radio, heh, just like the old days. (AND THE SERVERS SURVIVED THE WHOLE DAY! Which I am kinda super secret excited about.)

I'm just saying, after the new Blink-182 song, if Tom calls and wants back in, the band have every right to "new phone, who dis?"

Didn't even notice we broke 100,000 posts on the forum until right now - so, that's pretty damn cool. Now it's time to go edit this week's podcast.

Some days feel less productive than others even when you get everything you wanted done. Today was one of those days. It just felt ... off. Well, if things go as planned, I'll get another shot tomorrow.

Fuck it week over. Watching an Anna Kendrick movie in bed with beer and licorice and life is fine.

I've been publishing a few things, links and app recommendations, that I haven't felt quite work on the homepage yet ... on my blog.

That was one hell of a fun podcast episode to record, I hope it comes out as great as it felt while we were talking.

I'm on at least watch 10 of the 'Rogue One' trailer. This can't be healthy.

Finally gonna watch some 'Justice League vs Teen Titans' - recharge for the week with some superhero cartoons.

One week since the public launch. Damn. Gonna break down some numbers tomorrow. It was a good week. Gonna have to find something special for dinner and celebrate. I'm happy. I'm excited. This feels good.

Looking at the numbers, and I know this probably won't hold (because we're new and fresh out of the gate and people are wondering wtf happened), but the first 4 days of Chorus were far above my traffic expectations. They beat almost every four day stretch from AP.net in at least the last 6 months.

If we're going to walk into walls, we might as well run into them full speed.

I replied to an email earlier today, and just now got a response back that pointed out I had literally replied to myself. I replied to the email last night, forgot to archive it, saw it in my inbox this morning, and wrote a response to my own response. Thankfully they found this funny and not as sad as it is.

Honestly not sure if we're gonna have anything to talk about on the podcast when we come back in a few weeks.

Weird thought that may make no sense trying to explain in text: Pull all the electronic stuff out of "Break Free" by Ariana Grande, like stripe it down to just the vocal melody and that chorus pattern. Not the instruments or anything else. Ok, listen to that. That's what I want a new Blink-182 song to sound like. I want a call and return with that ... "lyric, lyric, <pause pause>, lyric lyric lyric lyric." Pull the instruments from the first part, and then have them crash in and speed up the last section of it.

Just passed 200 members. So, well, here goes nothing. No turning back now.
