maybe i'll come around but imo the new record falls off extremely after blue moon which bummed me out cause those first two tracks had me to the ceiling

 

This remix is awesome, it's not just an added feature but there's a lot of whole new things going on

 

I feel like there wasn’t a ton of hype for this initially. But it looks like it’s been gaining steam. Is that the correct read on it?

 

yep, a lot of it because she opened for Tate McRae and absolutely killed it (duh)

 

thought this one was pretty nice and didn't see it posted. I love love love this song, might be my favorite pop cut from the past few years. trying the record again now but still stand by my opinion that the first two tracks are sizably better than the rest, sadly

 

This is stunning. Still don't understand why she isn't massive, stunning vocals.

 

alright i think my issues strictly lie with 'pretty ugly' and 'girl's girl.' those both honestly are straight-up ass tracks powerful enough to bring me back to earth after a crazy 1-2 punch to kick things off. I see now that i was blinded by my rage and the second half of the album has some effective material

I’ve been singing Emilia Mernes’ praises since she released her y2k inspired album .mp3 in late 2024. She’s been trying to break into the American market for a little bit and I’m hoping Zara helps. Very happy to see her included here.
