workin class prices from a workin class hero! For these prices this dude better be bringing a massive production.
Right. Taylor Swift felt like seeing something akin to Cirque de Soleil. Not sure we’re gonna get that here but who knows lol. Hopefully this doesn’t start a trend of hopping on her price points but not on the scale of production, which based on the tour schedule alone for this seems highly unlikely. Taylor had 4-5 days every week to move and set up her behemoth.
I hope you guys have a great experience but I don’t know how much money I would have to have to pay these prices lol
Yeah, I like Zach’s music a lot, but the number of artists I’d pay that much to see is not very high. I was fine splurging for Taylor because it really felt like a generational event, but I definitely wouldn’t make a regular thing of paying that much for a show.
arena shows just aren’t affordable anymore. it sucks bc I usually will just pay for my partners ticket bc he’s not usually into the band. with prices the way they are for arena shows I just can’t justify dropping $500 for a night out.
yep, plus I just added a kid to my life, so it's even MORE ridiculous to think about spending that much. We did Taylor this year and that was really the only show of that size I can justify for the year
It makes me feel like a shitty fan, not going to lie! I was honestly pretty surprised to see how many people in here/on my social media feeds were springing for Zach tickets, because I thought I was one of his bigger boosters in this neck of the woods at least. But those prices are steep, and him ceding his fight with Ticketmaster makes it worse. I don't really blame him for doing that, but it's the latest proof that we're all playing into a monopoly that's allowed to charge what they want with no consequences. I also live 2+ hours from the nearest mid-sized live music market, and four hours from the nearest major market, so any show I want to go to is a big logistical lift with a lot of travel time/expense, and usually hotel/Airbnb as well. I don't even want to know how much I spent on the Taylor weekend with all that factored in.
Cheapest tickets in Philly were $60 all in. That doesn't seem bad for a football stadium but maybe my barometer for big events is totally out of whack in 2023.
Looks like the cheapest possible tickets for cowboys stadium are $200 for 4th level. Guess this show is not for me
Just how did Zach become a football stadium level act? That level ascension feels like it came out of no where. If anyone can break it down a little that’d help
I mean telling cops they need to be reigned in and they’re abusing their power to their face is more than most “ACAB” people would ever say to a cop in the back of a squad car if we’re being honest.
