They’re ok. Nothing special

 

Really missing the vibes of self-titled and Boys of Faith.

Everything he's released since then has just been...fine.

 

Mostly agree, though half of the last album was great too

 

These songs are nice enough, but he might need some out of the box cowriters or collaborators to shake him out of his comfort zone, especially melodically. A lot of this stuff is blending together at this point.

 

I think he needs to write a more rock-influenced record if for no other reason than it'll force him to use a different vocal melody

 

Damn. That song is niceee. Excellent collab from two of my all time faves.

Song is awesome. Had high hopes and it delivered

 

Nice. He’s put out some nice songs but kind of felt like he was in a bit of a rut.
