I know it's a live album, and we were spoiled by how great Homies/Ticketmaster was, but the production on this doesn't seem great.
Agreed. The mix is terrible. Sounds like a crowd cell phone recording. Like it’s ripped from a YouTube clip.
Singing “bar” like a horse is really throwing me off on Great American Bar Scene. Who told him to do that and why?
Yea it’s awful. The whole thing is so disjointed. Just more of a bunch of random live tracks than an album.
He promised a new EP and a new album by the end of the year on his Insta stories last night. Will be interesting to see if he addresses… anything… before that.
He strikes me as someone who won’t be able to stay quiet, even if it’s probably to his benefit that he does. Her allegations make him out to be a pretty shitty dude and it undercuts the good ol’ boy brand image he has. I enjoyed this new song, almost gave me an early Gaslight feel.
I don't think anyone has ever really thought highly of him as a human being and he has repeatedly come off as - at best - kind of a piece of shit for years now.
I mean, self admitted too. Most of his songs are about him being a piece of shit who ruins everything good in his life. The part of his personality that really took a hit is how big of a baby he is about other peers. Not letting his ex sing Morgan Wallen or Noah Kahan in the house makes him seem like such a jealous loser. Completely goes against the "I'm just a chill fuckup who drinks beer with the bros" relatable guy stuff.
