The second half is nuts. The whole thing is great though.

    is this a dream? ✫・゜

I honestly found this not that good. Serpent Music is indefinitely better. This just seems to me it doesn't flow properly?

I just preordered the LP this is so good. I'mma have to revisit Serpent Music. Absolutely in love with this one though - perfect moody album for dreary fall days.

This album feels significant and appropriate for the times. I can’t believe it’s not getting more hype here! @sophos34 id love to hear what you think of this

Saw him open for Blood Orange (who absolutely blew me away) and it was just him performing over the song recordings. Was good, though the songs frequently eroded into seemingly improvised electro-noise chaos. Tbh his voice doesnt translate very well live either, but there is lots of potential. His energy and the atmosphere alone was completely bonechilling.

Strange set! The energy and charisma is definitely there, but I’m not sure about the backing track, esp with the vocals. Hopefully a full band thing comes together whenever a headline tour happens.
