His rant about the Babadook in the season 2 finale is honestly one of the funniest things I've ever seen in a show. "It's so scary, you guys!...I reiterate, do NOT see the Babadook!"
Vernon was easily my favorite part of the s2 finale. He and Paul fighting in the bathroom had me dying.
that top movie with Juno and Tom Hardy I was so thirsty I shot a camel, turns out they don't work like that Zustified - that's Zumba when you're binge-watching Justified I'm late teaching Treadsparent, it's running on a Treadmill while you watch Transparent
I'm gonna meet Grumpy Cat this is the best day of my life just because a bus load of dead kids rolled up doesn't make it not margarita monday
Paul nice It's Pat cosplay Edgar I loved you in In The Heights I have a tan line shaped like Grumpy Cat because she was sleeping on my lap
So many quotables in this episode. And some graphic stuff in there. Cannot unsee lindsey and killian goddamnit
This was an out of this world good episode. Reminded me a lot of There Is Not Currently A Problem, love pretty much any time they can get all/most of the cast together.
Bursted into laughter every time Vernon popped up on screen. I love that guy. EDIT: Vernon silently cheering when Jimmy said he was going to heckle everything, holy shit.
Loved this episode, much better after last weeks which I wasn't really feeling. Vernon's Margarita Monday line killed me.
Love that line. The best is he references "The Babadook" earlier in the haunted house episode where he's super excited he's going to a haunted house with a realistic Babadook.
I also wasn't as in love with it as the majority here seem to be. Gretchen was straight unlikeable throughout most of it, everything with Killian was just weird, and all the hyper stylized stuff felt too out of place. I'm sure I'll like it more on a rewatch though and of course Vernon killed it
If felt like it was written by someone who had the premise explained to them but had never actually watched he show. All the jokes about the new excercise programs were hacky, and the party scene felt like it was filmed in 2011
Yeah, the writing this season has been a little all over the place. Jimmy and Gretchen's characterizations especially have felt thin, and for the for the first time ever it kinda feels like the show is trying to fit too much plot into the episodes. But I have hope because season 2 took a turn for the better about halfway through, and I can see this doing the same.
Until the final scene, this episode felt like the kind of episode It's Always Sunny has been doing once a season lately, where they find a thin reason to get old characters in a room and act like caricatures of themselves.
