i've loved seeing jimmy slowly show appreciation for edgar's dedication and friendship this season, his speech at the end of the episode was something i'm really glad happened by the end of the series even if the moment was quickly ruined. this season has been perfect and perhaps the best season of the show, gretchen's arc this season has hit me hard nearly every episode. i can't believe it's almost over, i'm going to miss this show so much.
Shit. Gretchen/her mom and Jimmy/Edgar’s conversation was incredible and rough. How long is the finale? I have no idea how they’ll pull it off So fucking sad this is over. Ten more seasons!
Honestly, as painful as Gretchen and her mom's scenes were, I've felt more fucked up by Edgar straight up telling Jimmy to not marry Gretchen. That was the last thing I was expecting him to say. There's no way these flash forwards are from Jimmy and Gretchen's wedding, so in twenty-ish minutes they need to have their wedding (if that actually goes through or not, who knows), a breakup, and a reunion to end the entire SERIES in a satisfying way. I am extremely curious how they'll pull this off
My stomach dropped a bit when Edgar started talking at the end. I was not expecting that. I really have no idea what’s happening next week. I hope it’s an hour long.
I wasn’t huge on the first part of this season but holy shit these last few episodes. The most recent might be a series best
the last scene with Jimmy and Edgar made my stomach drop so hard also loved seeing Tommy MiddleD ready to fully be killed by the finale

Not ready for tonight. This and Broad City are the first shows I can honestly say that I’ve been with since the first episode aired and they’re both gone within a week of one another.
same, also crazy ex girlfriend is ending on friday. alt sitcoms taking a BEATING. But at least they all got to go out on their own terms.
I watched the finale with fx+ earlier today and I can’t stop thinking about it. I was a goddamn mess from the title card until the credits rolled. I’m really gonna miss these characters. They totally nailed it, too.
