Seems like Jimmy could have avoided a lot of unnecessary drama by calling Gretchen and telling her he didn't have sex with anyone when she left...


Also it's very weird hearing "fuck" in this show now

 

This has to be the most “fucks” FX has allowed, right? I don’t mind it but it is kind of odd.

Also that episode made me very sad. I really don’t want to lose this show

 

Atlanta has a few. I feel like I’ve seen people say it doesn’t matter how many they say during an episode now it just hinges on what advertising thinks about it? Or something like that.

 

Gonna watch episode 6 tonight.... not ready to be halfway into this season already!!

 

I love that they can say "fuck" now. It doesn't feel weird or gratuitous because I've always thought these were characters who would speak that way in real life.

 

My only issue (and this is a minor issue that doesn't affect me at all and also probably not even a thing to think about) is in the future when this show is finally given the credit it deserves and everyone's binging it, it's going to be weird that 4/5th's of it is "clean" and then out of nowhere they're just saying fuck every other minute.

That said American censorship is a clownshow and it's real dumb that it's taken this long for sponsors to realize it doesn't matter

 

They did use it once before when Edger is talking to that other vet in the tow truck.

But yeah, this episode was kinda excessive.

Oofta the ending of tonight's episode and actually just all of it hahaha

 

Wow, that was quite an episode... Lots to unpack there

 

I feel like this is maybe heading towards Jimmy calling it off? He seemed pretty wary of Gretchen for most of this episode but especially the end (maybe for good reason? lol)

 

Whatever happens, we are not in for a happy ending

 

Anyone else think they cleaned up Jimmy a lot this season (until 2 episodes ago) and almost felt bad for him?

 

Last two have been fantastic. Wasn’t in the first couple but now I am.

IIfyou don't say oh no Jimmy/Gretchen this show isn't doing its job

Gretchen thinking Dr Doolittle was a detective and Jimmy saying he felt like Harvey Keitel in The Piano was amazing

Also for sure thought Rachel and Quinn were gonna be in like a cult

 

Gretchen's reaction in their bedroom to Jimmy telling her that he S'd the D was honestly amazing, the way she showed the pure joy/horror/amazment/everything else was just amazing

 

When tf is this season coming to Hulu

 

After it ends

 

"I knocked over a picture puzzle he'd been working on, he was livid!"

This episode, oh my god. This fucking show. I'm so sad it's ending. I love them so much even when I'm mad at them.

Also Gretchen's hair styles' this week were tops

 

as someone currently deep in the fucking exhausting nature of the “couple friends” phase Gretchen’s blowoff was therapy haha

also echoing the sentiment that her reaction to Jimmy’s deed was absolutely perfect
