This show has hit on so many dark themes and made me feel uncomfortable on multiple occasions but that was an all time high (or low, maybe?) for both categories. Even Pemberton's character, the person with no prior evidence of a moral compass, seemed on edge

 

I kind of want another Edgar centric episode tbh
His from last season was so fucking good

Gretchen's reaction to Becca's claim that Stevie Wonder can actually see was so perfect. I guess I can finally be comfortable saying I hate what Edgar's become and want the old Edgar back. And yeah, that ending...

 

I mean that definitely was not cool of Edgar but it's not like he did it for no reason. He tried multiple times to avoid confrontation and that guy just kept pushing him, and we all know Edgar has a lot of issues to work through. In the past he'd have just gotten really violent with the food guy instead so imo that situation was never gonna end well

and I love that they made a callback with The Babadook

 

I still love this show but I'm just not finding myself as into this season as the other ones and it sucks

 

Yeah these last two episodes in particular have been a struggle for me to get through

 

Might be my second favorite season (after 2).

 

It's probably my least favorite season but I still absolutely adore it. I just wish we could have more scenes with them all together.

and less Lindsay...

 

I honestly don't know why I am the only one who isn't a fan of her. I think Keither is great, and Lindsay definitely has her moments but I am so sick of the "Oh this girl is on the heavier side of the cast, let's constantly make jokes where she's aggressively over eating. Oh! and let's make over OVERWHELMINGLY STUPID."

She's a caricature in a show that regularly dips into very real territory and it has me rolling my eyes more than laughing.

 

That’s a fair criticism. I think I was the only person around here that hated Craig on P&R despite generally liking Eichner elsewhere.

 

This season has had 4-5 very grotesque moments that I'm not sure it has earned.

 

The show is definitely better when they are together. I feel like they dragging it out a bit with the break up but I'm still enjoying it. I don't adore it when it gets toooooo zany but the character driven stuff is great. Edgar is my fave. Then Gretchen.

Ben Folds was actually really funny in this and I always love when Sam is in it

Okay, so we're back to one more week.

 

Kind of thought the ending would be what they'd end the season on, but I can't wait to see what the finale brings. I'm also really glad Ben Folds was back, he was a highlight.

 

I feel like shit is gonna blow up in the last two eps
or at least it should with how all the insane things Gretchen has done lately
