Paul being an MRA checks out

 

Lindsay trying to relate to her coworkers and calling sugar "sweet salt" were both great

 

They really nailed the Richard Spencer look

 

Paul was the highlight of this one but nothing super special besides that

Paul getting decked Spencer-style was another nice touch

 

Boone sucks, want him gone bad.

Everything else was good.

 

I'm enjoying this season, but slowly realizing it's my least favorite of the four.

 

I'm bummed about what Paul's become, but got some laughs over it. Vernon not so slyly stealing Edgar's money was great. And yeah, we gotta get Boone out of here

 

Was whoever punched Paul just a rando or do we know who did it and I just missed it?

 

I think it was a Richard Spencer joke (so a rando just punching him in the face) but I wouldn't be surprised if a future episode comes back to that.

 

I'm not crazy about Boone. It seems like I'm not the only one around here

 

Agree 100%, had the same experience last episode

 

I like it more than 3 so far. Can’t make much of a call without seeing the full thing though.

 

I guess "you fought for me" is this season's "you stayed."? Wait. Boone fought for her? Did I blink?

 

It is frustrating to watch Gretchen's life be so awful, but I guess that's the point

 

I don't know if this is better than the third season, but it's certainly off to a better start. S3 was a little uneven in its early episodes

 

I think every season (other than the first) has a weird chunk of episodes that sort of make you worry but in the end always make sense.

Also whoever is in charge of picking music for the show does an excellent job

 

I had no problems with S3

 

I've got no problems with S4 either. Not really getting the complaints.

 

I haven't really seen any serious complaints.

 

I think parts of this season feel more manufactured than storylines in the past. Especially Boone being more than a one night stand.

After each episode airs you can see 'um ... starting there and reading downward shows some from the past two weeks.

 

Is it that much different than the Jimmy/bartender storyline in that regard? What's manufactured about it?
