I don't associate mint flavored ice cream and treats with the same taste as toothpaste at all. Mint is great.
mint toothpaste tasting bad and making me gag is the reason i get it. brushing your teeth is supposed to be hard. - a grownup
I use cinnamon toothpaste but I also am fine with mint toothpaste. I just rly like cinnamon. Tho I do associate the minty freshness with "clean" teeth so not having that does mess with me sometimes using the cinnamon one
I don't trust people who have never had a drink of alcohol but what I trust even less than that is a person who doesn't drink coffee I know that's like half of you so no offense. I mean everyone else
I wish I'd never had a sip of alcohol. I like coffee occasionally as a treat, but have to stay away from it (and cola) now because of the kidney stones. I drink ice water in the morning to try and wake up.
I love and prefer tea. Basically any caffeine is not going to be great for the development of stones, but I still drink it from time to time. Also love Arizona's premade zero-calorie green tea.
I think what bothers me the most about mint chocolate chip is that the mint "flavor" is too concentrated (doesn't have the subtleties of the herb) and that is a really weird combination when paired with chocolate. It's artificial and synthetic tasting. It does remind me of eating chocolate immediately after brushing my teeth. I love actual mint and also mint flavoring. Peppermint, spearmint... doesn't matter. I use spearmint regularly in my cooking, but that's just a combination I don't like. I can eat it, but it doesn't taste very good. Now I'd like a mojito or a stick of gum.
