Yeah idk what ale vs soda would even mean but I assume(d) Vernor's is akin to Schweppes or Canada Dry

 

I think anyone from Detroit would be very mad at Mick's comment.

 

Interesting. I just looked it up and Canada Dry and Schweppes are ginger ales while Vernors is a ginger soda and Goslings is a ginger beer.

Ginger ale and soda are the same as best I can tell while ginger beer is fermented and brewed and typically stronger in ginger flavor.

Guess I was just overthinking the term "ginger soda"

 

I never see Vernors around here and I bought it specifically because of how often it's mentioned on Detroiters lol. It sucks though. It's really fucking bad

 

Never had it but if Mick hates it its probably good.

 

I got 5 more bottles of it, come get it if you like drinking vomit

 

Lol what I remember of it is more unremarkable and not a ton of flavor but in no way repulsive.

 

Vernors is good and Mick is bad

 

Coming around on Taco Bell Street Chalupas. Still much prefer the old school normal Chalupas I grew up with though.

 

I shied away from trying those. results were too mixed for my liking
