At least Domino's isn't a racist pizza chain, but yeah, Dominos is bad lmao. I prefer Pizza Hut. Domino's is just convenient because of their app, coupons, and quick delivery, so I still get it every once in a while. It's truly the only "fast food" pizza delivery where I live. There is Pizza Hut, but they are slower and more expensive, so you may as well order from a local pizza place instead. No Papa John's here.
Dominos is so much better than papa John’s especially the pan pizza plus with their coupons you can get a 3 topping pizza for like $8
Tbh I don't love their pan pizza. The New York style is really good though. Otherwise I go for their regular, hand made style.
My controversial opinion is pizza is just meh overall. I rarely eat it, and when i do, its because it's a work pizza party or others picked a pizza place to meet up, or i finally agree to when my wife suggests pizza. Or its frozen pizza for a quick meal in a pinch. There are so many other foods that id suggest before pizza as it just doesnt do much for me. Im not saying its bad, it can be quite good, but it just doesnt outrank much else. (Burgers, wings, chinese, thai, burritos etc etc - there's always something else id rather eat).
I like pizza but I rarely eat it now because my body reacts incredibly negative to it. Even dairy-free ones fuck me up
Y'know, for 10 years, every time I ordered from Dominos with a coupon that includes a 2 liter soda, they always would give me a 20 oz, and I just ignored it because I'm not a big soda guy anyways. Today I finally said to myself "if they do it again, I'm calling to complain" lol. I'm just not a confrontational person. Not only did they remember the 2 liter this time, but the first thing he says is "man, thank God you live across from a gas station, I completely forgot your soda so I ran across the street and got you one!" Phew. It's like he read my mind lol.
Hard disagree about Domino's. I don't really fuck with their regular crust but the pan (well done), NY and thin hit 9 times out of 10. Honestly I feel like the standard crust at all the big chains is typically the worst option. Always prefer thin or pan.
I got NY this time. Half chicken, half pepperoni. Bomb as hell. Got free parm and garlic bread bites with coupons. My free 16 piece bread bite offer was about to expire.
As a topping on my pizza yes haha I love grilled chicken on a pizza. If it's a local pizza place I'll often get chopped up breaded chicken fingers on a pizza, though.
There used to be a place downtown from me (actually it was downstairs from my first apartment in this town) that sold a "fat chicken" pizza with chicken fingers, fries, and mozzarella sticks on the pizza.
I like chicken when it’s buffalo chicken or some other specialty pizza but just plain chicken is wild to me. Also with buffalo chicken breaded > grilled.
There’s a local spot in my hometown that makes (or made? It’s been years since I’ve been there so idk if it’s even still a thing) a fantastic garlic chicken pizza. They topped it with chicken, garlic and then used this great white sauce. Probably my favorite pizza ever
