Today for lunch I experimented a bit and put Bang Bang sauce (usually meant for spicy shrimp) on my air fried Aldi red bag chicken sandwich. Pretty fucking good.
What's up with the 2 pepperoni patterns? Looks awesome though. You make the dough? What's the recipe compared to regular pizza dough? Detroit pizza seems to be kicking off, I see it in the store now but I never knew what it was like. I figured it was just a square Chicago deep dish but it looks different now I see the cross section.
I make detroits pretty often. I use this recipe from King Arthur: https://www.kingarthurbaking.com/recipes/weeknight-detroit-pizza-recipe Its way better than chicago deep dish imo. The crust with the crispy cheesy edges are to die for. Give it a shot!
my girlfriend wanted less pepperoni. the recipe is similar to the one listed above. I got it from a pizza maker instagram. They have a bunch of different types of dough recipes.
Croissants are decent as a sandwhich bread but whack as a sweet desert. It’s like 5% filling for 95% meh bread
I like croissants on the side of a meal but I hate them for breakfast sandwiches. Too flaky and messy.
Aldi Red Bag Chicken isn't shrinkflated anymore and is back to it's original size/quality. Still expensive as hell though. Like $10 a bag.
Why are the instructions on a Digiorno pizza so inaccurate? 19 minutes at 400 degrees is nowhere near enough lol I always bump it to 25-26 minutes
It's a whirlpool oven that's only 8 years old lol. It's been that way since I moved in here at the end of 2017. The apartment was newly renovated at the time.
Fwiw I swear Digiorno pizzas *used* to say about 23-24 minutes like 10 years ago lmao they just changed the instructions for seemingly no reason
this is the best frozen pizza I've ever had. honestly rivals any thin crust from the big chains. wish they had other varietals besides meat lovers though (pretty sure that's the only topping options for the ultra thin crust)
My ex fucking hated Digiorno and swore Red Baron had better sauce. I think she's nuts. I don't dislike Red Baron but there's a reason it's cheaper imo
