A soft cookie is basically cake

 

Well, no not at all

 

I made a batch of cookies last night that wound up being very cake-like

 

You must be very bad at baking.

 

Dawg, I followed the recipe! They also had to cool off a few minutes. Then they became more like a normal cookie

 

bet this is amazing but who the fuck would ever make it?

Finally got the Mcflurry I've been craving all month. It sucked. One of the biggest disappointments of my life. No dome lid, no cool thick straw. It was a scoop of cookies and cream ice cream for the price of a gallon

 

Soda is the most unnecessary part of the fast food combo and at a lot of places you save like 2 or 3 bucks just ordering your items individually without a soda.

Crazy how marked up soda is at fast food spots when you can get a fountain drink of equal size at most gas stations for just 80 cents.

 

Sometimes it does make the meal cheaper though, and it's crazy how strict fast food places are about you actually getting the drink, too. I've gone to McDonalds and have said "yeah I'll get the meal but don't bother filling the drink, I'm not going to drink it" and they blew up at me and argued that's not allowed. I'm like "okay... So... I should just dump it on the road then and throw it away...??"

I'm ultimately trying to save them money and reduce unnecessary waste. C'mon man.

 

That's wild that they'd force the drink on you.

 

I like Checker's chicken sandwiches. They put on way more mayo than other fast food chicken sammies, which I kind of dig.

 

I had to be a Karen and speak to the manager who told him to fuck off lol. This was a few years ago. I probably shouldn't have gotten so mad but I was like... Are you serious? I've done this a million times??

...Well, to be clear, I didn't ask for the manager or anything, he just came over to ask what was up because I was arguing with him about it and saying I've done it before here

 

I would've just let him make me the drink and then just grabbed my food and left the drink sitting there on his counter

 

Haha I would have but I was at the drive through in a beat up 1997 ES300 with broken fold-out cupholders, so if I had a drink, it meant holding my right hand on top of it the whole ride home lol

 

never seen bro so despondent. Popeyes has definitely had a huge fall off tho so it's understandable
