Mall cafeteria food is really lacking nowadays since malls started dying. My mall cafeteria used to have a Wendy's, Taco Bell, Sbarro, and Chik fil A. All closed. It's just Sarku Japan, some grilled cheese spot, and a cajun chicken place now.
Great Steak and Potato Co. at the mall used to be so damn good. Teriyaki chicken cheesesteak was next level. RIP to a real one.
I knew malls were dying when the Great American Cookie that has been there since I was a toddler closed after the pandemic.
I don't even know if there is a single restaurant open in the cafeteria in my mall anymore. Place is a ghost town
The day Buffalo Wild Wings moved out of my mall, I knew it was over. They had a department store sized restaurant in there haha
My mall food court is dying, but they keep opening sit down casual restaurants. Red Robin, PF Chang's, BJ's, Cheesecake Factory. There is even a diner in there now. My mall also has a Whole Foods
I literally never touch my oven anymore unless I'm cooking a full size pizza lol. Just finished eating some chicken breast from mine, they're great
