I only go to McDonald’s if they drop some sort of fun limited-time item, really But that’s also me with most fast food chains
I rarely eat fast food anymore if I do it's usually Taco Bell and for some reason I still have an affinity for McDonald's so I get that too but not much else
brisket from BK sounds absolutely wretched his BKs sound much like those in my area. such a sad place
Whole Foods hot bar pizza, while not as good as the square ones they used to have when it was 365, is still pretty good. And as an extra fuck you to Bezos I'll always put two or three slices in the box and only pay for one.
What's this lady in the Chipotle commercial talking about a triple wrap burrito? When they accidently put too much and have to double wrap it, that already ruins it. I can't imagine adding another tortillas and not choking to death.
I love Italian Sausage so much. It's pretty cheap compared to other meats currently (at Aldi it's usually like $3.75 a LB). Very quick to defrost. Instantly elevates a sauce. Just afraid I am going to develop Gout from eating too much of it lately.
Costco sells a Kirkland brand mild version that is under 3 dollars a pound and it’s made with very few ingredients. I use it the same way and I freeze most of them to eat later. So good.
What is your favorite “grew up poor” food? I was just told the other day that my love for Mexican cheese melted on chips, which my mother referred to as nachos, was “grew up poor” food (I did grow up poor). That is still one of my favorite meals to this day.
It's commonly called Struggle Meals. Butter Noodles was what my mom made when things got strapped. Just pasta, butter, and black pepper.
Also tuna pasta salad. Just canned tuna, mayo, pasta, frozen peas, and paprika. My mom made that like once a week.
