I don't like how buttery / greasy biscuits are and how I feel after lol. They often leave me feeling sick. Bagels are often lacking unless it's a true bagel place. An English muffin is probably my preferred choice as it's hard to screw up and even though it's probably not, it feels healthier than a biscuit.
I have an affinity for canned green beans, but I don't think I've eaten a canned vegetable in 10 years. On the other hand we eat canned beans several times a week.
Actually canned spinach is pretty bad too. I remember as a kid being so confused why Boston Market's spinach was so good but the canned spinach my mom made at home was awful and tasted like dirt.
I think I mentioned this in here when I first started using this thread, but sometimes for a quick easy lunch I will make a bag of microwaved steamed mixed veggies and add in some melted butter, oil, and cheese. Throw in some hot sauce and seasoning. My dad always did that for lunch growing up and I ended up doing it too.
Microwaved steamed veggies are so convenient. I use them any time I'm cooking up some meat to have on the side
