Unpopular opinion as a Pittsburgher, I don’t love fries in sandwhich for the most part. Gets soggy and just makes it starchy fries on a salad all day though
Local pizza shop by me used to make pizzas and subs with chicken fingers, mozzarella sticks, and fries on top. They called it "the fat chicken". It was delicious and made you feel like shit for days
California Burritos also suffer the same fate of just being dry and starchy, but they can be really good sometimes.
There’s a sandwich shop in LA named Fat Sals that makes these insane hoagies that are stuffed with fries and mozzarella sticks and shit. It’s supposedly a legendary spot, but I’ve only heard mid things about it
