watermelon mint tea (specifically the now discontinued Trader Joe’s version, which I’m still pissed about) is great for iced tea

 

KFC Chicken and Waffles

 

had a seafood filled weekend. catfish friday, shrimp/craw dads saturday, crabs sunday. probably a little too many brews too but man nothing pairs better with seafood than an ice cold tallboy

 

I let my curiosity get the best of me and I got a bottle of the new peach-flavored cold brew coffee from Target’s brand Good & Gather (as pictured below):



Verdict: This is not it. At all. lol.

I’m usually not a big fan of the “naturally flavored” cold brews coffees like this, but the G&G brand makes some around the holidays (pumpkin spice, peppermint mocha, pecan pie) that are pretty decent, so I don’t necessarily hold the brand with bad regard.

But this one is just bad. The coffee itself tastes unusually watered down and the peach flavor is light but still unpleasant. The best way I can describe the taste of this is: It tastes like a flat, coffee-flavored La Croix with an aftertaste of soap.

I have no idea wtf Target was thinking with this one.

 

When it comes to bottled cold brew brands, I enjoy SToK the most

 

I fuck so hard with stok cold brew. The unsweetened black specifically.
