chefreactions is pretty good. sometimes a little long. that's why i like tiktok and the ability to speed up videos. ain't nobody want to watch that at regular speed.
how does this group feel about maple syrup? i used to be a big fan of the commercial stuff (mrs butterworth etc) but lately i’ve become more of a vermont maple syrup purist
Well, first of all Mrs. Butterworth isn’t maple syrup. That’s just flavored corn syrup. You gotta get real pure maple syrup from Vermont or Canada. That’s the good stuff.
crazy that i posted this, opened tiktok twenty minutes later and what shows up on my fyp but @woodsboundoutdoors and a video about boiling down maple syrup
I was more of an Aunt Jemima kid growing up myself. Being from New England, my high school actually had a sugar house and natural resources program for maple sugaring, including tapping trees haha.
I liked the fake stuff as a kid but now its maple syrup or bust. Regularly will make a lil maple sriracha mayo to go on sandwiches and other stuff.
I'm not really a fun of maple syrup as I'm not into pancakes and waffles to be honest. Much rather prefer an 'American' breakfast with eggs, bacon, toast, hashgrowns / grits etc. I like maple syrup in things and am a big fan of chicken and waffles.
I’m fine with whatever syrup is around for waffles and pancakes but I’ve learned I really don’t like maple flavored things. Don’t want a maple donut or candy
