The average number of hot dogs consumed per person per year is 70. My conclusion from that - some people eat WAY too many hot dogs. That's almost 6 hot dogs per month per person. I refuse to believe that this number is not skewed by the top 1% of hot dog hoggers. It's like wealth where the top 10% control like 50+% of wealth. That's what's happening in the hot dog world.
Look, I don't have the best diet myself so I'm not judging what anyone eats. I can eat 3-4 hot dogs at a summer cookout a few times a year, and get them at ball games the handful of times I go, but I don't even get close to 70, and then there's people like Aaron will proudly die without even consuming a single one so yea, 70 is shocking to me. Keeping on hot dogs, I love when they are spiral cut, or split open before grilling, get that extra char and crisp.
70 hot dogs a year? I gotta up my numbers to keep up, think I've only had 3 this year so far which is shameful i know
to be fair when i eat hot dogs i can easily house 3 without thinking. and if we cook a package of 8 you know there will be that leftover mac n’ dog n’ cheese.
Few things beat a hot dog absolutely cremated over a campfire, though most of my hot dog consumption is just the 2/$1 at Sheetz. Which aren’t great but still prettt good
havent had a proper hot dog in awhile but had pigs in a blanket a few weeks ago and they still slap every time.
i can eat a thousand pigs in blankets. that’s definitely where the elevated numbers are coming from – PIB fans. get you some hot mustard, now we’re talking
Yeahhh they're a little too messy for me. Just give me a smores pop-tart instead. I'll roast that over the fire.
