Good pork chops cooked to a medium rare/medium are unbelievably good. Lamb chops are one of my favorite meals.
Never had and never will eat veal. My parents house was by a dairy farmer who would have the calves tied up for everyone to see from the road. Once I found out why he did that, I knew I could never eat them.
It was and I even started driving a different way to my folk's house because I couldnt stand the chance of maybe seeing those babies
I think I got roasted in this thread for this before: but sometimes for lunch in a pinch a bag of steamed mixed veggies with butter, oil, cheese, and lots of seasoning works well. My dad always did that so I think I picked it up for him.
I can understand not eating veal for ethical reasons, but then you should not eat lamb then either because it's the same type of thing but with sheep.
I have a friend who wont eat anything made from ground beef/chicken/turkey because of the 'texture'. No tacos, burgers, meatloafs, meatballs, etc. Any of ya'll like that?
The only time I eat lamb is on Easter, when my grandma makes it. It has a deep history in Greek culture! I personally don't believe the whole sacrificial lamb of god thing, but if my grandma is gonna make it anyway I'm gonna eat it
I like all ground meat but I kind of understand what they mean by texture. Sometimes ground turkey or ground chicken has an odd texture to it if cooked wrong
