I always put bread and tortilla wraps in the fridge. They last wayyy past the expiration date that way. I'm talking plain sandwich bread though. If I had some fancy sour dough or something, that would stay on the counter. My mom always froze bread growing up and then thawed it out when needed but I'm too impatient to thaw things
I refrigerate tortilla wraps after opening, but not bread. I feel like it changes the texture too much even when thawed out/toasted
Haha IDK actually. I guess because when I hear tortilla I think Mexican food, but I use it to make sandwich wraps
I have no reason for this other than the fact my parents did this growing up, but I've always put English muffins in the fridge but any other bread stays out on the counter
It always baffles me when people prefer an English muffin breakfast sandwich over a bagel breakfast sandwich Like, my local coffee place only serves bacon egg and cheese sandwiches on English muffins. Not even an option for bagels!
a good breakfast sandwich on a bagel rules but most times the bagel is too big and the proportions are off and you’re getting mostly bagel in every bite.
My dad would have an English muffin with peanut butter for breakfast like every day. Just so fucking dry
I refrigerate my Ezekiel bread. I actually find it weird when people leave it out, since I think you’re supposed to refrigerate it
we load up on english muffins from shaw's supermarket, because they typically do a buy 1 get 2 free. they go in the freezer, and defrost no prob.
