I don't have bread in there.

 

i bake sourdough once every 2 weeks. two loaves, one goes in the freezer, other stays on the counter.

sandwich bread, like store bought square bread, goes in the fridge for pbj / fluffernutters

 

ive never put a loaf of bread in the fridge, that seems bizarre

 

It's bad for the bread and makes it stale faster.

 

not the stuff they load up with preservatives. that bread stays fresh forever

 

Less so when you put it in the fridge though.
