Best egg: scrambled with a bunch of cheddar cheese mixed in Worst egg: overcooked hard boiled with nasty dry yolk
I mainly eat over easy or scrambled eggs but I'll eat most methods of cooking, just not over hard. Eggs are one of the only things I can eat without making myself sick rn. I have a feeling I'm going to burn myself out on them very soon.
Eggs really need to be cooked correctly for the dish they're in. Fried egg on a sandwich/burger - Cook it till the yolk is mostly set so you don't get a yolk facial when you take your first bite. Fried egg on a breakfast plate - Leave it nice and runny to dip that toast into. Scrambled eggs - Whatever, I always prefer fried egg, but they're acceptable if I didn't do the cooking. There are good and bad scrambled eggs (the bad being over cooked and dry and bland). I don't care what Gordon Ramsey says, salt your eggs! Boiled eggs - I don't like them on their own (I'd never just eat a hard boiled egg) but they're good in things like ramen, and in that case, you need a slightly runny jammy center. Poached eggs - Just make sure the egg is runny otherwise what's the point? I'm so polite at restaurants and don't send things back, but I'd be so tempted to if I got an eggs benedict with a set poached egg.
