Made a steak for the first time. My whole apartment was absolutely full of smoke, burned the outside pretty damn good, was running around grabbing a fan,.opening the slider. Burned my broccoli in the process so I have no sides. ....and yet it actually tastes really good? I don't think I'll ever do that again. Not as long as I only have a microwave above the stove for ventilation
Haha thanks! I was drenched with sweat by the time it was all said and done and felt pretty defeated, but in the end, it tasted good so I'll take it lol. Basted it in butter, crushed garlic cloves, and thyme
That being said... Anyone have any idea how I can get these burn marks off a stainless steel pan? Dawn power wash ain't doing anything haha. It's my ex's and she hasn't come for it yet :-X. It was spotless before.
put some water in and boil it and try to scrub what you can out with that. to get the final remnants out use barkeeper's friend powder. that stuff is amazing and gets most stuff out. just need some elbow grease
I mean if you're using a teaspoon for anything other than stirring a beverage, you should be euthanized.
I always use spoon #3 for eating The photo is missing an example of the larger version of it that comes with virtually every set of utensils
