Bro it’s like $10 for a dozen where I am. The cheapest ones I’ve been able to find are $6.99 for a dozen, but it’s the medium-size eggs

I do not like eggs. I did make bacon for the first time in nearly a year today and that rocked. A grilled cheese with bacon is one of my favorite simple pleasures, food-wise.

 

Can't shudder at the thought of eating that many eggs because I make crêpes with them once or twice a week and it becomes quickly addicting

 

Bacon is so fucking good but I can’t eat it often because of those sweet, sweet saturated fats

 

I’ve never bought eggs so I have no idea what prices normally are or how much they’ve gone up over the years

If I had to buy them now they could be $16/ dozen and I’d probably shrug and think, ‘I guess that’s decent?’

 

There is a restaurant in my neck of the woods that had the greatest bacon I’ve ever had. It’s super thick, but super crispy while also melting in your mouth. I’ve tried recreating it at home so many times and I can’t do it. I need to know how they do it because it is sublime

A grilled cheese is a cheese sandwhich that is grilled.

a bacon sandwhich with cheese is not a cheese sandwhich. Heating it up does not magically make it a grilled cheese

 

Honestly, I agree. Another example: a bacon egg and cheese sandwich is just that. It's not a grilled cheese with bacon and egg on it
