Truth. I hate a mealy apple more than anything. Even Fuji are better and they're not that good. I just got some of these and they're pretty crazy:
A few weeks ago at WinCo I got the best cosmic crisp apples for pretty cheap but when I went back recently they were not as good I got some nice looking honeycrisp apples at the farmers market that I am excited to try. They have so many varieties of apples at that farmers market. I feel like I'm going to have to do a taste test of all the different varieties at some point
I am into lemons recently. Put em in a marinade. Put em in a pasta. Put em in your glass of water. They are a versatile fruit
Kinda hard to say lemon or lime is better than the other when theyre typically used for completely different things. Like I'd never put lemon in my gauc or lime in my chicken francese
Good in booze. Good in sparkling water. Good in some desserts. Good in Mexican food. Not really great in non-latin savory foods.
I always recommend this recipe to everyone. It's the lowest effort to highest deliciousness pasta recipe you can find. Everyone we make it for goes bonkers.
I actually got lemons to make something similar. With my Instacart+ I got a free membership to NYT Cooking and they had a Lemon-Garlic Linguine recipe I made. It was pretty good. I kinda fucked up the lemon to garlic ratio though so it ended up a little too lemony and I could barely taste the garlic.
Strong lemon flavor on anything savory is really disgusting to me. And I hate pasta. lemon deserts are S Tier though
Every pasta I’ve had has been bad and the times I’ve forced myself to eat it made me feel like shit wheat should only become bread or vodka
